How to Sign Up as a Landlord
- Navigate to the Propurti sign-up page.

Choose Landlord from the three role options.

Select Continue.

In the email verification field, enter your email address.

Select Send Verification Code.
⚠️ Heads up: The verification code request has a 30-second cooldown between attempts. Select Send Verification Code only once and wait for the email.

Enter the 6-digit verification code received in your email into the six individual digit inputs.

Select Verify Code.

In the First Name field, enter your first name.

In the Last Name field, enter your last name.

Confirm your email address. It is auto-filled from the verification step and locked.

In the Phone Number field, enter your phone number. This field is optional.

Check I will manage my properties myself if you want property-manager-level capabilities for your own properties.
💡 Note: If you were invited by a Property Manager, this checkbox is unavailable. The PM manages your properties on your behalf.

In the Password field, enter a password that meets all five strength rules: minimum 10 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character.
⚠️ Heads up: The password must be at least 10 characters long and contain uppercase, lowercase, digit, and special character. The form displays a strength indicator — all five rules must show as satisfied before you can submit.

In the Confirm Password field, re-enter your password.
⚠️ Heads up: The confirmation must match the password exactly. A mismatch indicator appears if the two values differ.

Select Create Account.

If a pending Property Manager connection exists, a connection modal appears. Choose one:
- Select Accept to connect with the Property Manager.
- Select Decline to skip the connection.
Both actions redirect you to the Landlord dashboard.

What to expect
A success notification displays “Account created!”. You are redirected to the Landlord dashboard. If you selected I will manage my properties myself, you are redirected to /dashboard with PM-level capabilities.

| Self-managed checkbox is disabled | You were invited by a Property Manager | The PM manages your properties. No action needed. |
| Password strength indicator shows unsatisfied rules | Password does not meet all five requirements | Add the missing character type (uppercase, lowercase, digit, or special character). |
| Create Account remains disabled | Required fields incomplete or password mismatch | Verify all required fields are filled and passwords match. |
