How to Counter a Lease Renewal Proposal

As a Tenant, navigate to your Lease page and view the renewal proposal.
Select Counter on the proposal.

⚠️ Heads up: You must enter a counter rent amount greater than zero. The system enforces a maximum limit on the number of counter-proposals per renewal.

Enter your preferred rent amount and justification, then submit.
The Property Manager receives a counter-proposal notification.
As a Property Manager, select Accept Counter to finalise the renewal with the counter terms. Alternatively, select Decline to reject the counter.

What to expect

If the PM accepts the counter: the renewal is finalised with the counter terms. If the PM declines: the tenant is notified and the original terms stand or the renewal is cancelled.
