How to Run Automated Tenant Screening

Navigate to the Screening page.

Select Screening Criteria to configure screening thresholds (minimum credit score, income ratio, background check requirements).
⚠️ Heads up: Screening profiles can be customized per jurisdiction. Ensure the correct jurisdiction is selected before configuring criteria.

Select Run Screening to initiate background check, credit check, and employment verification for an application.
⚠️ Heads up: The application must be in a valid state for screening (Verifying or Pending Review). Screening capability must be enabled on your plan.

When results return, review the screening scores, background report, credit report, and employment verification. The weighted score is computed based on your criteria. [SCREENSHOT NEEDED HERE]

Based on the results, select Approve to auto-create a draft lease, or select Reject with a reason.
⚠️ Heads up: Approval automatically creates a draft lease. Rejection requires a reason and the applicant will be notified.

What to expect
Screening is initiated and the status moves to Verifying. When results return, scores and reports appear on the application. If approved, the status changes to Approved and a draft lease is auto-created. If rejected, the status changes to Rejected and the applicant is notified with the reason.
