How to Initiate a Lease Renewal

Navigate to the Leasing page and locate the lease approaching expiry.

On the expiry alert banner, select Respond. [SCREENSHOT NEEDED HERE]

Select Renew Lease from the expiry action dialog that opens, then confirm.
⚠️ Heads up: You must enter a proposed rent amount greater than zero. If an active vacate notice exists on the lease, the renewal will be blocked.
- Verify the renewal proposal is sent and the tenant receives a notification.
What to expect
A renewal proposal is created with the proposed rent and term. The tenant receives a notification and has 14 days to respond. The proposal appears on the lease with a pending status.
